One day

One day I will be very happy

And I will be healthy

And I will be somewhat wealthy

One day

My son will want for nothing

He will have a great education

He will be sure of himself

And have good values

One day

I will be able to buy my son new shoes

One day

I will make a difference in the lives of others

One day

I will be completely independent

I will have a nice home

And nice things

One day

I will have an education

I will have an office

I will have a business

I will have pieces of paper in frames on my walls

One day

I will be able to volunteer

Become socially active

I will become involved in different causes

And people will respect me

One day

I will have a wife

That will love, respect and be honest with me

And I with her

One day

I will have more children

And then I will have grandchildren

And one day

I will die

And will any of this have mattered
