Underneath the Rain

Drifting like a flower

Sleepy sweet and underneath

The rain

Tastes like a few days

In the outskirts of Jost Van Dyke

In the waters of a sandy sky

Farther and everything will feel like

It's gone

Souls can't be swallowed too long

The famous they will say it

Then it will be famously said

Have you ever seen the pits of whats left

I am merry as church bells

I am calm as a tree

Besides the waters of everlasting life

I don't know why

And then i don't feel as high anymore

My petals are strewn across the path

Of retreating lovers dressed in white

My petals are laid upon the chest

Of lowering boxes buried with tears

I am given to the hands of love

I am given from the hands of lovers in pain

And i am underneath, the rain

Drifting like a flower

Sleepy sweet and underneath

The rain
