ROXY'S POEMS With These closed eyes I can see more
Truth and hear what I cant see.
With these eyes shut
I hide from the pain.
With these closed eyes I hold only me to blame.
I see my fear the coward inside
I see what I hate and I see why I hide.
Only black I see now the dark.
Will save me from my fears.
Why hide now when you’ve
Lived in the dark for so many years.
In the dark is where I pray
I hope with my fares and sea’s the new day.
Maybe the light from the sun is far to bright to see.
But with my eyes shut it still appears
To me.
With these eyes closed I see the truth in you.
I know what it is you want.
And I still play the fool.
So here ill stay in the dark for another
Dawn.
And in the dark.
I still see where my life went wrong.
