One day I’ll find my wings

I’ll fly so far from here

I wont look back.

I wont miss home.

I wont even fear.

One day I’ll be strong and you’ll know me

For who I am.

And you’ll be sorry when you see

All you could have had.

One day not to far from now.

I’ll make you understand.

But when your eyes see maybe be it

Will be too late.

And then you’ll wish you didn’t wait.

One day when the sky is blue

And the sun is hot.

I’ll walk off to a new life.

Leavening all I’ve got.

One day when your eyes open

My wings will have been here and

Gone.

The wings that carry me.

Over my fares.

And into my new.

One day I keep saying.

Oh one day I’ll lose you.
