I asked you to praise me, I asked you to glorify me,I asked you to spend time with me in prayer,I asked you to get to know me by reading my word (Bible), but you say, "I love my spouse." I asked, "what about me?" You say, "I love my kids." I asked, "what about me?" You say, "I love my father and mother." I asked, "what about me?" You say, "I love my brother and sister."
I asked, "what about me?" You say, "I love my aunts and uncles."
I asked, "What about me?" You say, "I love my cousins and friends." I asked, "What about me?" Can any of them you mentioned comfort you the way I can? Can any of them protect you the way I can, all the time? Will they really be there for you everytime you need them? Can you cry out to them from anywhere at anytime? If you were cripple or had a disease man cannot cure, can they make you whole, can they cure you? When all your bills are overdue and you don't have the money and no one else does either, can they touch the heart of the bill collectors to keep them from turning your services off, from evicting you, taking your car, furniture, or appliances? If you end up in court, can they touch the heart of the judge or jury and set you free? Can they protect you from danger you or them cannot see coming? When you see someone highly blessed of me and have their hearts desire, and you cry out to me, then I will say to you, "Go to your friends and family and asked them, what about me?
