the dark glasses

WE put on these dark glasses,

And there is little we can see.

We can’t tell skin color,

Or religious nobility.

All we can see is into each others souls,

The racism can no longer take its toll.

Everyone is happy and together,

Finally life is so much better.

Sadly, these glasses are a lie,

But the trait can be found in a young child’s eye…
