Time and lies will do all they can.
When you can't breathe,
when you're falling apart at the seams.
What a tumultuous life
When the foundations of your wisdom crack.
Can't let it be,
the abyss of your narcotics-coated mind
a drug-induced state of euphoria
the bravest part of you is locked away, hidden in the farthest recesses of your soul.
Can't scream anymore
With nothing else to anchor you
and you just float away
with this charcoal sky
racking cries and mournful intuition
broken stubs of once-graceful wings bring you down
The loving embrace of sullen darkness
The warm womb of earth beckons
You fall back to reality
and still you cannot let it be.
And when all is said and done,
Your coffin wil be lined with the hardened blood of your enemies
And you will never sleep, even in death
While you reside in your blissfull ignorance
how you still feel all hopelessness is beyond me
You cannot let yourself be free
