Glances stole, beyond my sight
tell of wishes,buried deep;
For as I hold my mirrored light
a shimmering soul desire reaps
Ages pass, radiance darkens,
from purest white to ashen grey;
Bereft of mind, she cannot harken
voices calling, "Your hand shall slay..."
Drenched with sighs, she fades to black;
Flashing bright, her sword's unsheathed
Yet with slaying; skill, she lacks
And in my stead, my mirror's cleaved
Gazing to the broken light,
newborn tears shame her eyes-
Her love defiled by her blight;
She clasps my bane as she dies
