Poetry Improv (My best friend and I wrote this) 9-21-05

The black fades out

As things shine through

With very very little doubt.

Shame is thrown away

As well as everyone’s caution.

The sun is shining.

Your face is smiling.

As I’m reminded of all the things

That made me fall in love with you.

So I put it all into words.

I push you away.

What first allured you to me

Is what you’re unaware of.

It’ll all catch up to you;

Your secrets, your lies.

And eventually I’ll be left in the dust.

Just a memory of what destroyed you.

Your demonic angel to haunt you.,

Gone from reserved to dangerous.

I’ll stab you, over and over, again.

You’ll see, and need me, to let you go.

But I never will.

You’ll try to leave and I’ll still hold on.

Tying you to me eternally.

The pain I inflicted will haunt you.

And yet, turn me on.

So I’ll continue choking you,

Keeping my hands firmly together.

The ties are binding, only to loosen,

When I want to control another.

But they’ll never be completely gone.

When I get bored I’ll come back.

Only to use you again.

To take your trust and twist it.

To make you my slave.

I’ll hold on until you’re dead.

When you die your soul is mine.

It can’t haunt me,

When it’s torturing you.

As long as I’m eternal,

You’ll be my obedient Barbie.

Though, with all I’ve done,

All the pain I etched into the walls of your soul,

You’ll never complain.

Because you need the attention.

To feel loved, and needed,

Even to feel used.

So in the end you’re like a bagel,

I can butter you up,

And consume you.
