As I recall it was just another day in paradise,

She was walking around in her constant dream world,

Occasionally making conversation, not really there,

She would smile at me from across the hall,

Thats how I'd know she was tired of being miss perfect.



Then I would walk over ask her if we could talk,

and in all honesty I love spending time with her,

It's hard to explain, she touches a part of me,

I feel her, the way she see's things, senses them,

In all her beauty I know deep down in my heart she is special.



Someday I hope that everyone can see what I see in her,

this ever so fragile girl, yet with all her grace,

she always manages to make me laugh, smile, cry with joy,

everyone always puts her down, tells her shes worthless,

yet In me she has a companion, a soul mate.

It is amazing the way he trusts me and believes in me,

no- one else has ever been this kind towards me,

yet I cant explain it, a connection maybe,

The way we both just look at one another,

and somepart of us deep down just knows it is true.



I have feelings for him that run so deep in my heart,

yet I can never let on to him that I feel this way,

Im afraid thayt he will leave, like everyone else,

how can I trully know he will stay with me forever,

I dont suppose I can, all I can do I take a chance.



We are connected in heart, mind, body and soul,

we're both one in the same, we know everything,

without even talking we know what the other is thinking,

Now I know thats special and I know he does to,

So everything is coming true all my hopes and dreams.

We both were on our way home, a young girl was walking infront of us, a young guy behind that when he ran,

took her bag, kept running, my girl dropped her bag and ran after him, she caught up with him, pushed him to the floor,

thats when he pulled out his gun and shot her down.



she lay there helpless on the floor, I could do nothing,

we shouted for help yet all I remember her saying to me,

was: I love you, dont ever leave me.  

and as my angel lay in my arms, her wings were burnt,

and from that day on she has stayed with me until the end of time, watching over me.
