One day
The frozen barricade will melt,
The doors will be opened
And the rays of sun
Will find its way -
Illuminating the road
That leads back to your arms.

My heart longs for the warmth
of the caring, unselfish embrace
Which is known by my heart alone.
Craving for it like a sanctuary -
A home.
Where happiness, rest and
"Always" and "Forever" exist.

One day
Smiles will become laughter
And the poetry we say
will echo through our skin
So loud, so clear
Until every strand of our reality, our being
Merge like water.

Together, we burn.
Liquified form of passion,
Warm and balmy -
Smoother than tequila
Trailing down in a parched throat,
Quenching the unforgiving thirst
From long nights of counting stars apart.

One day
My eyes will see yours
My lips will not just speak your name
and say "Hello".
With me, by your side
I'll whisper in your ear -
"Babe, this is the first day we'll
forever stay this way."
