A rather odd day today, I had a sorta Truman Show experiance.



I left to do my chores for the day and as I did so some one who i'm sure i've never met greeted me by name. I nodded and went about it nothing special. As i finished the basics i had plenty of time left so I went to 'explore' a little more see if I could fine a mom and pop place to eat, or maybe a cute store ... I found both as luck would have it.



As I went into the first place, the curio shop, again it happened. The store keeper greeted me by name. This time I was so surprised I asked the store keeper to repeat what he had said, just to make sure I heard him right and again he greeted me by name. I seriousely was unsure what was happening, I thought it was a hidden camera thing, or I was wearing my namebadge. It didn't seem like either was true.



After browsing for a little bit I went over to the resturaunt and both the hostess and the waiter greeted me by name, by this time it definately unsettled me so I excused myself and desided to end the day early.



As far as I know i've never been to, or seen, any of those people before and at work it doesn't bother me when people greet me by name, but the idea that 3 seperate times, two of wich were in places I'ld never been to, this happened it was definately unnearving.



If i didn't have an item from the curio shop I might have tought it was a dream.
