We're well aware of what kills us
And we say we accept death
Why don't we deny the truth?
Why don't we fight back?
We're so afraid of change
Never were taught that it was fine
Never were taught to embrace evolution
We fear what's new,
We keep the young at bay,
We keep the poor down, too.
Greed and fear keep us from reaching out
Imagine, when we extend a hand
And pull to the sky
What a world we'd see
What a heaven we'd find
Change wears us out though
They say
A psychological form of exhaustion
Try to change your routine and you may slip
Believe you can manage
And imagine that world..
Where you can take deep breaths and see
The future you dream in dreams,
Wouldn't it be worth it?
