Today lives in the midst of the most horrendous earthquake
Faces of pain, tears of blood, today your people cry
Why have you forsaken thy people who continuously agonize?
Hurricanes, earthquakes and a history of slavery
Continue to haunt this land throughout ages
Oppressed buildings, depressed faces
May God comfort the souls of the martyrs who were annihilated
The earth has murdered with its hands the people of beautiful faces
