Hating Clocks

Love Poems

Hating clocks
Racing while we kiss and talk
Slowing when we are apart
Ticking clocks sucking our heart

Pendulum swinging back and forth
Summer walks, spring sprints
The winter runs to break our gleam
Big Ben stealing our meager scenes

They teased me with a taste of sweet
Hungry for more I wanted to scream
Speed of light chasing the wind
I shot his arms for hating on me

Hating clocks
I will kill them once and for all
Now, I need you to come forth
I will fight them until we’re done
