I walk through the frozen landscapes
Mother Earth has finally been slain
All existence has been thrown into oblivion
The kings, the tyrants, and merciless martyrs
Lay forever still, coated with the ash
That’s fallen like snow for these last three Aeons
My footprints stretching miles
Dragging the bodies to the ever growing pyre
Their empty eyes stabbing deep into my heart
The ruins of forgotten, archaic cities
Barely standing after the catastrophic fires
Destined for greatness, but ignorance drove the human race apart
The pile grows endlessly higher
Children’s laughter echo (forever) through the thickening mire
Waves of blood crash into these deserted shores
This once great planet now grows cold
And I, a lone wraith, forced to roam
Endlessly under the broken moon
Cursed, to forever inhale the radiation
Nuclear holocaust, our self induced Armageddon
Oh great Mother, forgive us our sins
Our slates now wiped clean with mushroom clouds
We will never again stain Her brow
We will never again…
…All life is at an end
