CAUSE OF DEATH - WRECKLESSNESS



Traveling irresponsibly

down a twisted and dangerous path

Wrong road, wrong way, unsuspecting passersby

Bastard didn't do the math



He leaves behind a little baby

plus the truth of others untold

matching plates, glasses, brand new couch

and a marriage just one year old



He built his lies like a house of cards

never thinking it would come crashing down

Disregarding the dreams and hopes of others

and the lives he jerked around



He'll never know the total impact

of the seeds that he has sown

or the cutting life lesson of "the one who cares the most

is ALWAYS the last to know".



The flowing lyrical candor that hooked him

is the same I use to commemorate

this gnawing hopelessness in my gut

that only death can initiate



A deserving "THANKS FOR NOTHING"

goes to this husband of many, faithful to none

Prayer offerings are being accepted by his biggest fool

who grieves the death of the husband she thought he was.
