Poetry Close your eyes and pray softly to your "God".
Because after tonight, nobody will be there to answer.
Can you not see that I don't care anymore?
Can you feel the pain that you bring me?
Don't cry. Don't be scared.
Suicide is a simple thing.
To silence you is to disappear.
You are the inner voice that drives my mind,
Strives to control it all.
Keeping me tied in emotions,
Drowning in tears.
Don't pay me any last respects.
It's all coming down, all falling down.
Close my eyes and stop praying to my "God".
You're the phantasm holding a gun to my temple.
Lay down and go to sleep.
Hope for no pain.
Close my eyes and just disappear....
Let it all slip quietly away.
