i heard her again
The tiny voice within
Like a theft in the night
She gave me a fright
This time, was a lot louder
Once tiny,now a booming voice
So intent,full of virtue
She shattered my poise
I tried to push her back
As hard as i can
Didn't budge at all
Like an octopus tentacles that cling
The voice shook my whole being
I tried to run away from her
But like my shadow
She follows
Wherever i go
I tried to beg
'Give me a rest
I want my peace'
She turned a deaf ear
Her eyes blind to my tears
I turned weary of fighting
I got tired of running
Im worn-out of my flight
I faced her with courage and might
Listened to her
Not with ears
But with my heart
Heeded her advice
Made my self from murky water arise
Salute to the tiny voice.
And this is beautiful, reminds me when I was 8 yrs old!
Loved every word! Well done really ouched me with this one! Warmly, SS
