You - 06/17/02

You, you started it all,

The endless chain of events.

You made me what I am today,

And I hate you for it.

You poisoned my very existence,

You caused all my problems,

You ruined my life.

You created me, but did a poor job.

Because of you, I am weak.

Because of you, I have struggled.

Because of you, I have been abused.

You don't deserve me, or anyone.

Your stupid mistakes nearly cost me my life.

I hate you for it so much, I love you for it.

-----

You, you who call yourself a doctor.

You didn't know me, you just assumed.

Ever hear of knowing when not to assume?

Because of you, I despised my mother.

I thought she abused me, but it was you.

You brainwashed her,

And it brainwashed me.

Until one day, not too long ago.

When I found out it was you.

And now I see the light.

You are stupid for what you did to me.

But I can forgive stupidity.

And I forgave my mother for your mistakes.

I just hope you learned from them.

-----

You, you who call yourself popular.

You are the lowest people on earth.

You could not see the beauty in me.

You could not see me for what I really am.

And for that, you are blind and stupid.

But I can forgive blindness and stupidity.

I cannot forgive cruelty.

You, oh so popular ones, are cruel.

You turned me against the world.

You turned me against myself.

You turned everyone against me.

And I hate you for it.

I hate you for it so much, I love you for it.

You worthless pieces of shit!

-----

You, you who I met long ago.

You showered me with compliments.

You made your "love" rain on me.

Nobody else wanted me, but you.

But you didn't really love me, or even want to.

All you wanted was to kill me...

And you almost did.

You've taken my most precious gift away.

You chewed my heart up and spat it out.

You and your friends stomped on it.

There was no one to pick up the pieces.

No way to mend my shattered life.

I dubbed thee unforgiven, for what you did to me.

And then it happened...

-----

You, you who I met long ago.

You showered me with compliments.

You made your love rain on me.

Nobody else wanted me, but you.

And I really wanted to love you,

All you wanted was to be with me.

And now, finally, you are.

You've taken my most precious gift away.

You took my heart and soul.

And I almost stopped you.

But then I realized you were special.

So, you can take my heart and soul.

Because I know you'll keep it forever.

And I love you for it.

There are far too many people

There are far too many people like this out and about in the world.  We have to be cautious and wary . . . .
