With the pain that I could never let escape into your eyes.
Another time,
Lost in superficial moments once thought to be left behind.
I see the signs,
Painted on candy coats as I gaze into the scarlet light.
The scarlet light,
Purifies the sanity and paints the world inside my mind.
Its so sublime,
The remnants of my shattered heart defragment then realign.
The thrill of life,
Broken in a moment overwhelmed by my disease inside.
The hands of time,
Shatter into madness as the scarlet light subdues my mind.
Oh scarlet light,
Purge me of this pain inside until the day I kiss the sky.
The dancing chimes,
Mooring to all the decadence that my fists just clench so tight.
The depths of night,
Hide away the memories I’ve left buried within these rhymes.
One light to shine,
Ushering in the fragrances I am breathing in tonight.
Oh scarlet light,
Gazing into the atmosphere as my soul is left to die.
Where can I find,
The illusions I’ve left trapped inside this shadow of a life.
I’m mesmerized,
So content with my vile poison borrowed from the scarlet light.
The soft sunrise,
Fermenting every reason to cast aside my dark disguise.
The scarlet light,
Decorated in the metaphors I’ve laced into these lines.
