I want to leave it all behind

I want to hide in the night

But every time I try

All I can think about is your daylight

The shadows are my safe haven

The light is yours

So stop me from running

I'm willing to take all the blame

All the others have tried

But it's all the same

The bus is waiting for me

As I am waiting for you

Give me a reason 

To stay

Or to run

Give me a reason for both

It's all I ask

I've tried to stay away,

To leave you in peace

But every time I'm drawn back 

By you

You're a thorn 

You're a tack

You're stuck in my mind

My heart

So please,

Release me

Or keep me

Give me a reason

It's all up to you
