a cold eternity

lost

is my life
detatched from the sky
a thought

from my mind
a curse not to die

so i
reclaim my course
by striking down none
i feel as one undone

and i
take back the night
and glide thru the dawn
break this speech
and never be gone
for i was born
and i will die
without enough time

the summer, the fall
asleep in us all
the winter, the dead
the door to the end

and here
is the stone
i cast into
the great unknown
that i'll never be shown
i will never be shown

gone

are the days
when i could be strong
torn

when one stays
i know now ive lost the way
across the sea
above the night
to birth a new light
and i
lose my heart
i beg for my mind
but hear only woes
in the winter of time
for i will die
and i was born
in a world all but torn

the summer, the fall
asleep in us all
the winter, the dead
the door to the end

Great work. I like the way this reads. Not an even flow, but still a constant stream of thought that is touching. I enjoy reading it a few times over. Keep up the good writing.
