Once upon a time, in the whole vaste Universe there were millions of planets with its own population, habitat and specific god. Each one of the planets lived in great harmony, without having any problem or concerns to worry about. They covered the great space, making it bright in all different colors as shiny as diamonds. Also, once every year all the gods held a meeting to share the experiences and developments of their own planets and its people. The god of birds always talked of how great his birds were able to handle all sort of winds and decorate the immense skies of his planet. Moreover, the god of fish described how his creation survived in every current, temperature and oceans he set up for them. And so on, each one of the gods kept describing his experiences with his planet. Last but not least, there was the god of humans. It was usual that the others gods made comments underestimating the humans, telling that they were neither strong as alps nor fast as leopards; they couldn’t find a single quality in them. The humans’ god always laughed with them not giving their comments any importance at all; but not this time. He was silent during the whole meeting; not a single word or comment was told by him. However, all the others gods noticed his strange behavior and asked him why has he been so different as usual. After being pressed by them, he reluctantly accepted to tell them what has he been thinking. He told them that it was great to share their experiences, but during the last years he thought that the planets lacked of something. He said that interaction between planets should be made, in order to make a supreme planet. In addition, he added that a creature should rule above all other creatures. Suddenly, all the gods were excited with the idea of his creation ruling above all others in the same planet. They started to give arguments why his creations deserved to rule in the supreme planet. In this moment, the humans’ god made a challenge and proposal to all. He told them that they should place their creations in a contest to name the ruler of the supreme planet. All of the gods couldn’t believe that he made that proposal, knowing that his creation was the weakest but they accepted the challenge. The contest was performed, and it consisted of a single test in which each creature should run, swim and fly in anyway they could. Not a single creature but the human was able to complete the test. He was neither the fastest runner or swimmer nor the best flier, but he managed to do them all because of one special talent: intelligence. Consequently, the supreme planet was created with the humans ruling above all creatures. The gods established only one condition to the ruler: he should reign as long as he showed that he was capable to reign. If at any time the humans started to disturb the planet, they shall be removed from their throne. The humans’ god accepted the deal and earth was created. He only feared one thing of his creation, not knowing how far their intelligence could drive them… the end.
