Hell is real. I died and they sent me back to tell you. I'm not being granted a second chance, second chances are a human concept. Let me describe eternal pain. The flesh is not flesh, but it burns off and is restored to be burned again. These are metaphors for pain so that you will understand the concept: no autonomic reflexes to pull back from the heat. Singed, charred, roasted, ashed. More metaphors. The actual soul-tormenting for having murdered or raped, pillaged or destroyed is as harsh as the horizonless space containing such evil is vast.

I had a talk with a few caretakers. A few fallen angel conversations is a must at the end of exisitence. Three items kept plaguing me as I returned to corporeality: life is not finite, souls are real, and heaven is for the chosen, not the good. I was kinda hoping that good works would get me past the evil thinking and evil actions. In Sunday School they did not cover Revelations but should have. The design offered examples during my walk among the living, no visitations from the dark lords of Hell or one word spoken from the unfallen. It would have helped a lot.

Thre is no sky in Hell. Most human concepts of the concrete are inapplicable. Devils are actually really nice guys and gals - condemned of course, damned for eternity and that, but as non-coporeals, they kinda rock. One told me, before I was whisped back into reality, that Hell is not so bad if you cozy up to management. Who knew. Didn't read that part in any holy text, now did ya? If you are doomed, and not saved (I love the oppositional positioning) then keep in mind (or soul) that Hell is less a place than a mind (soul) set. Yeah, there's the torment part to deal with, but you get breaks and hot chocolate to ease the suffering and prepare you for the next round.

I was thinking all of this a dream until a message, smoking from Hellfires, was scrawled in red across my bedroom celing. "REMEMBER" it said. So, I wrote it down for all you sinners out there. Hell is real.
