Like bikes and ice skates

you never forget the skill. Still,

surprises happen and chance

encounters take you

into unforgettable places.

Like a melting icicle's essence

drips away. There at sunrise

gone by noon. I sing the sunshine

and inhale the moon.

Like a rainbow you fell

across the front porch window

and asked to stay. It has been a

while since a rainbow did that.
