in defense of our slips

and slurs.

Besides, where would

rap music be without

them? And most r&b. Country

would cease to exist. Folk

music would vanish. Ah,

librettos!

In a room full of people

it could be embarassing,

unless you are a quick study

and can turn the faux pas

into a hilarious self-effacing

pun.

Slips and slurs mean giving

away everywhere you have been.

Freudian ones are devilishly

revealing, yet we slide-elide all

kinds of vowels and consonants

daily in the millions and, so

far, no one has died

from them.
