Scared of one's shadow means

fear of flying, tremors at the podium,

afraid to say, spooked by noises,

haunted by memories.

.

Taking the risky choice or making

one appear out of thinning atmosphere

is the same as parachuting,

rollerblading, tightrope walking,

and Everest climbing.

.

Not talking about putting your fingers

under a spray of steaming hot water.

Scary means more than fear of

and carries the burden of surprised

events. Initiating that which holds harm

explains why looking in the mirror

is listed with the lot.
