Your voice soothes me.
Around you I can be me.
You bring out the best in me.
I can talk to you
and not fear that what I say
will come back to haunt me.
I am able to joke, play, and laugh
Then turn around and vent, yell, and cry.
You are my shoulder to cry on.
The pillar that keeps me standing.
You can ignite a fire in me
that only you can put out.
You have so much power over me.
I am open and vulnerable.
What you do with it
scares the crap out of me.
But I know that you would never
hurt me, intentionally.
I just wish I could have you
