The cars stopped,
The lights are down low.
He touches her hair,
but he lets go.
She caresses his face,
embraces his warmth.
But he pushed her away,
and gave her one subtle blow.
She woke up in a stretcher,
all covered in blood.
She now remembers what happened,
She now must let go.
Now, he needs her, he doesn’t want to let go.
His heart is in despair,
but now she has to get repaired.
They say she’s far beyond saving,
highly unlikely she'll survive.
And its all because of some dumb guy.
