My Story

My story is my life

Being alive to my best ability

Wanting success from the start

Pomona, the perfect place

I'm not going to fall apart

I have to show my name before i'm in a case

Moving and moving but alive I am staying

Still learning, being told what I can and can’t be saying

Realizing what I do and don’t believe in

Hoping my parents don’t think it’s a sin

I’m older and I think I found love

Should I be scared, sad, lost, or all of the above

The older I become the more I realize

I’m not that important, just a part of the flies

Please stop avoiding my cries

“I’m fine”, “I’m alright”, stop believing those lies

This was me and this is me

But to do what I want, I must change

I’ll grow, i’ll be happy

But for now i’ll be “strange"
