do you know how I think

or the way my mind works

do you know my hidden fears

or the way my thoughts lurk

I have a wall that won't come down

I live in a small town

but I used to be big city

I'm not ugly or beautiful

I'm in the middle just sitting pretty

I can get mad

and say things I don't really mean

if you knew all this

would you still wanna be on my team?

I like to laugh and have a good time

I enjoy writing poetry and watching it rhyme

somethings come so easily

somethings just flow naturally

poetry saves my emotions and puts them away

I will re-read them another day
