What I've seen in my life is tainting
I used to be so kind free and fun
I feel like I am starting over
Like a second chance
& My life is just begun
What I've seen makes me wait and pause,
I talk my time and wait on the Lord
I know how it feels to put all my trust, hope and happiness into a person
I don't want to get let down
Can't take another heart break
What I've seen makes me appreciate what I see in you
Although I am afraid,
you have no clue
But from what I've seen I like who you are
You like me even from afar
I'll take the risk and give you a chance
You sure are something exciting to look at even from a glance
What I've seen should make me reclusive and bottled up
But that's not what life's about
It's about getting back up
You may be the one who changes it all
You may be the one who will catch me when I fall
What I've seen is so simple and true
It makes me grateful that I could meet someone like you.
