I always was afraid and ran for cover

You betrayed my trust

You never wanted to see me excel

I finally broke free

no longer under your spell

No longer a co-dependent

I belong to myself

All the bad memories

I just want to forget

All the abuse is no longer in progress

I don't want to be around your

negativity and stress

You are never happy

You are a kill joy

I no longer am a prisoner

I have found love in my 2 boys!

So say and do what you please

You are forgiven

and I am finally FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
