Dear Best Friend

We have been through a lot of ups and downs in life.

We have experienced the best in life together,

somewhere along the way you changed your course

so now it is just me and the kids.

I have excepted this and moved on

all of my feelings for you are gone

I know now that I deserve better

but it doesn't mean your not good enough

just not for me.

I have chosen to love and forgive so I can move forward

I know you are strong and you will be alright

I just don't want to be disrespected or fight

We have a bond in children in common

That doesn't mean we can't go wrong

So I'm writing this to say

You don't know how long I Prayed and waited for you

and now this is something I just can't do

Although I know you and I am here for you

To give you love and support

I sat in at court

Our love will never end

I will never forget all the times you were there for me

So if you ever need me you know I'll be there

your my ride or die

Life isn't fair.
