such an overused line
"ill be there"
nobody is ever there when you really need them
they aren't there for the panic attacks at four in the morning
they aren't there when your parents are yelling at you for being a screw up
and even if they were there, how are they supposed to help
they cant convince you that your awful thoughts are wrong
they cant give the depression a stern scolding and send it away
there is nothing they can do
its like trying to fix a broken vase
but one of the pieces is missing
and that piece is so far gone
its hopeless
but hope is a thing of the past
way back when the vase wasnt broken
