She smiled as though
Ailments were none
Living each day
As if life just begun
Her hair in tight curls
Hands gloved in lace
I will always remember
Lady Frances this way
A ribbon on a hat
That trailed elegantly behind
Her, as she sped
As if there were no time
Things to be done,
No time to waste!
I will always remember,
Lady Frances this way
Eyes that sparkled,
With good humor & wit
Her jokes always clever,
Her response always quick
Cards in her hands,
That smile never leaving her face
I will always remember
Lady Frances this way
Her voice that lingered
Through out the hall,
The soft cheek I kissed,
Since I was small,
Always in a dress,
No complaints despite her day,
I will always remember
Lady Frances this way
I will never forget
The joy I felt in her grace
May we always remember
Lady Frances this way

Lady Frances:
The memory of Lady Frances you have portrayed very well, very descriptive. I think your poem is a good read and very interesting, character portrayal.

Very sweet. Love how you
Very sweet. Love how you described the hat!!
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
