A new day
Comes from the night of the day you thought was yours.
A new day
Sends it’s waves of emotions to your shores.
And I
I don’t deny
That its love that brought the day before
But now I see it is no more
And I
I cannot rest
The door closes in the west
Leaving what you thought was for the best
Then a new day comes a long
And reminds you that the other day is gone

Shine light from above
The truth is in the stars
They twinkle like her eyes
And all you feed is lies to her
And just when you start to feel
That there is something more
To free your mind at least
Opening another door
Rises above emotions in the east.
And I
I don’t deny
That its love that brought the day before
But now I see it is no more
And I
I cannot see
What the next day will bring to me
I cannot open the door without the key
Then a new day comes along
And reminds you that the other day is gone.
