Pacific Rim: Insurrection

Five years after the premiere of afdah 'Pacific Rim' directed by Guillermo del Toro , comes its second part, a bit closer to 'Transformers' or 'Mazinguer Z' than its predecessor, but promises what it gives, mechas and kaijus , although the latter have a hard time coming back.

It will not disappoint the public that goes in search of action, but 'Pacific Rim : Insurrection' starts having to give too many explanations, new presentations of the new characters, telling what happened after the war, all that is counted in a way light, but still makes you lose a little bit all the essence that had the first, the "kaiju."

To focus, this film takes us a few years after the great war, now the Jeagers are threatened by new technologies that want to separate the pilots from the battlefield to fight from the buildings through drones. More I can not tell, because the truth is that the surprises that the tape gives us are quite original and it is better to see them than to read them.

As I said before we are presented with new protagonists, such as Jake Pentecost, son of the war hero ( John Boyega ), Nate Lambert ( Scott Eastwood ) or the young Amara Namani ( Cailee Spaeny ), although we still have the company of old friends like Mako Mori ( Rinko Kikuchi ), Dr. Newton Geiszler ( Charlie Day ) or Dr. Hermann Gottlieb ( Burn Gorman ) among others.

I can say that 'Pacific Rim: Insurrection' is   going to like it and that it will leave you wanting more after a good ending, because otherwise, the Afdah Comedy although it starts with too many preambles goes in crescendo and it really is when you give mind that it falls short. So let's hope that they will soon get down to work and come back with more wicks and kaijus and especially if the rumors are true, that King Kong and Godzilla come on stage.
