I grab the car keys

He look at me with probing eyes

I kneel down and pat his head

"Wait here" I said.

"I'll went to the car and gather some of my stuff"

Opening the luminous door,

I take a step outside

When there's a tug on my sleeve

"Can I come?" he question me with beseeching eyes 

I sigh contently

Bent down, I murmur 

"No, you can't. I'll be back within a minute"

"I'll wait here for you then" he smile at me

While standing at the wide open door
