This unsustainable path we’re on
Yet arrogantly pretend it’s forever
We won’t stop until we’re gone
Human race over
So much now insignificant
The end seems so near
Far too many complacent
While the worst I fear
The human race
A hopeless case
Overpopulated and past the point of no return
Watch it all slowly burn
The human race from which I want to hide
Sometimes inside I think I have already died
We are past the point of no return
Sit with a bottle of wine and watch it all burn
A step up from a monkey; a virus on a path of destruction
Giving up on the future, yet must continue to somehow function
Humanity spreading carelessly so very wide and far
We ruin all we touch; we’re still in denial of what we really are
Oh how I wish I could tell you that it will all be ok
I can’t help but worry that we're all doomed someday
Oh how I wish I could see the future as bright
But I’m stuck here in the dark and reality is my plight
So much now insignificant
The end seems so near
Far too many complacent
While the worst I fear
Billions too many
Little hope, if any
We’re sucking the world dry
Ignorance is bliss; get ready to die
Billions too many sucking the world dry
Losing hope and getting ready to die
This horrid and surreal path
Prepare to feel mother nature’s wrath
Unsustainable and covering the world with stains
Unaware of the unimaginable approaching pain
This unsustainable path we’re on
Yet arrogantly pretend it’s forever
We won’t stop until we’re gone
Human race over
