Please time, stop passing me by
Please time, I do not want to see loved ones die
Cannot help but focus on what brings me the most pain
Cannot help to think thoughts that turn logic into the insane
Please Adam, give yourself a break
Please Adam, your whole life is at stake
The pages have turned as my past has burned
A new chapter has begun but this eclipse still suffocates my sun
Change like fog surrounds
But happiness in this rusty mess is never found
And when I think I will not suffer anymore
I’m thrown again to the wolves, blood stained and worn
Hoping for a fresh start, something bright and new
But even as the pages burn away what is now written is still so blue
Please time, stop repeating your words
Please time, stop making reality so absurd
Cannot help but think I am doomed
Cannot help but fill my head full of gloom
Please Adam, do not do this to yourself once more
Please Adam, you bruise yourself over and over and what for?
Ever since a young boy, playing outside with toys
Staring up at the sky, and never being able to stop wondering why
Since a young boy, peering into thoughts pouring out of the abyss
Tears flow out of sadness and worry; this world is amiss
Ever since a young boy
Peering into the abyss
Staring up at the sky
Knowing this exsistence is amiss
