My blood boils green
At the sight of perfection
The sound of euphoria
And the painful feel
Of crushing inferiority.
My eyes ignite
From sparks of emerald envy
Sending a fiery gaze
Toward the flawless one
The destroyer of my ego.
My self esteem is buried
In the worm infested dirt
Beneath the luscious lime fields
That gently kiss her feet
In her personal garden of Eden.
My face turns a sickly jade
At my own weakness
Of being unable to break
The trance I’m under
Of incurable insufferable jealousy.
