Sleep my little one,
Let you dreams roam,
Fly o'er seas of blue,
An' soar through pastures green.
Night has fallen o'er the land,
The air is sweet and still.
Close your eyes, my babe,
Let sleep close in peacefully.
The golden sun has set,
As the moon takes its place in the eternal sky,
Sleep, young one, sleep through the night,
As you rest quietly in slumber.
Smell the flow'rs as they come into bloom,
Feel the fire's warmth lift your heart,
Let your mind swim through the sea,
Peace you will find here.
Sleep now, babe, close your weary eyes,
