My heatfelt apology for arriving late.

Did I miss the show?

I did not mean to miss our date.

Will there be an early evening show.

I know I just arrived, but I received a text from my mate.

There won't be another show; Oh! well maybe I should go?

You'd like us to dine together, to make up for my neglect of you; yes oh! what a fate.

Love to, where should we eat?

And lets not be late.
