The stars all watch me
Soaring past their faces
So close I could touch them
Yet so far as if to taunt me
"Tint, tintint..." is the only sound beyond my steady breathing
The sound of dust upon my vision
Through a one-way window I gaze upon the devil
Who mocks me, throwing rocks at my form
With a sigh, I can't help but laugh, though laughs are short in supply
Planetoids don't feel emotion, and Comets only hurry on
"Towards what?" I wonder aloud
"Destruction..." that cold voice replies
I know it's true, I feel it, not just the voice, but the certainty
We all, careen towards our own destruction, wild, out of control
The only thing that matters, is the impact
Decide now, do you:
Destroying everything around you, yet surviving, intact, to lie there alone
Rusting from the inside out
Or detonate with such a force as to rival the death of a Star
Showing to the world, that even in death, you refuse to fade away
Like a fireworks display in hell
You leave only dust and memories behind
