Taking a step back once more
I see the lights, the mortal shame
With the deeper meaning of knowing
Where and when they came
I feel again shammed to know
That I am being followed
Not by other unwary eyes
But by a man with a heart so hollowed
He is known
But only a few stop to join
He looks at us with one clenched hand
Releasing a deafeated coin
He walks away with a proven look
And laughs while he does
I look around for an opinion
All my friends just shrug
I pick up the coin
And read the small lettering
I read aloud and said:
"Walk not run, and cherrish everything"
