Invisible, the walls of popularity

allowed no trace or shred of solidarity,

enforcing artifices of disparity.

Those who were once boldly, verbosely, violent

have fallen to decrepitude---still, silent---

the sudden slope, almost straight down, they did not expect or seek;

but my poems have remained to linger for a look, and speak.
