like the solar wind

counting the lights on the bay
that bridge so far away
below switches flip,
law of exile loosing ones grip
swirls of the holy smoke
while the masses choke
mind-numbing into fact,
blocks and blocks retract
as if the heat could be any greater
as fuselage and wings invade her
sympathetic moon in its only sky
there only the harbor people spy
a city rebuilding all that once glowed,
where an ocean of mourners flowed
lessons of hiding their lives uncovered
everything falls as the sun recovered
quantity to quirk like dust from a meteor showers
remember the hour, we all remember the falling towers
flames and flares blown like the solar wind upon us it was thrust
in evidence, which wrecks, and wrecks until there is nothing but dust

I still feel strongly about 911
