Battle of the Sexes

a bit of light whose love descends color the rainbow
I took to the streets
looking to escalate feeling

exposed to summer light

heavy in the measure

of the nonchalant

ambling of seabirds from another world
wind through the salty passage

woman the current slope is so steep
victor to all that she sees
we are the current angle
it matters little to me

my life its flaws, like cracks in a fable
gorgeous ghost insinuating yourself
through the black & white
change the inevitable tenor of things

those concrete attacks
in full shadow and slated sun, not even with our own two eyes
unarmed, uncontested

warriors of the empire's side recognized
the bitter history
of endless war
